The Daily Circus of Running a Small Clothing Business
Running a small clothing business is like starring in your own reality TV show. There's drama, suspense, comedy, and a wardrobe department that never stops working. Every day begins with a sugar-fueled meeting (with myself) where I plan the day's tasks. Then I remember I’ve left the kettle on, dash to the kitchen, get distracted by a cat in the garden, and before I know it, the meeting is postponed to tomorrow.
Inventory checks often turn into fashion shows with me strutting around the bedroom in the latest designs. Let’s not forget the time I accidentally shipped a customer the wrong order. Running this show is chaotic, exhausting, but utterly rewarding—because at the end of the day, who wouldn’t want to wear the chaos on their sleeve?
